The minutes list individual vendor payments and record totals of $24,940.51 for General Fund/Building, $7,508.35 for Food Service, and $10,963.16 for the Activity Fund. The board also accepted a resignation from the district athletic director, identified in the minutes as Mrs. Talbott. Board members expressed appreciation for Mrs. Talbott’s years of service. Tayton Kramer moved to accept the AD resignation; Jeremy Thompson seconded and the motion passed 5-0.
The Transportation Committee reported a future need for a long-term substitute bus driver from March through the end of the school year and asked board members to suggest community members to fill that role. Principal RobbiJo Morgan reported Prairie Grit visited with wheelchairs for physical-education activities, that enrollment is up, and that a new fire alarm system installation by New Vision is set to begin Dec. 22, 2025.
The board adjusted committee assignments effective Jan. 1, 2026, and set a deadline for board members to submit corrections to job descriptions to Superintendent Sebastian and Principal Morgan by Jan. 10 (the minutes record the year as 2025). The next regular meeting is scheduled for Jan. 20, 2026.
