The Freeman Public Schools Board of Education on June 8 approved its consent agenda and several administrative items in unanimous votes.
The consent agenda passed on a motion by Board Member Myron Schoen with a second by Tiffany Buhr; the consent package included minutes and claims totaling $638,072.54. The meeting’s claims list provided line-item examples including technology purchases (36 iPads for $12,024.00), ESU 5 services ($21,515.71) and utilities (Norris Public Power $7,379.56).
The board also approved reviews for policies 5018, 5057, 5001 and 5054 through motions recorded on the agenda; each motion passed 6–0. In addition, the board approved KSB annual policy updates (motion by AJ Wiese, second by Kyle Dorn) and approved an interlocal agreement between Freeman Public Schools and the Village of Adams (motion by Myron Schoen, second by Eldon Ideus); both motions passed unanimously.
