The Urbana Free Library board on July 14 approved routine financial items and reappointed its officer slate for fiscal year 2027.
The chair read the consent agenda, which included board meeting minutes and payroll totals: $140,842.27 (06/12/2026), $147,350.04 (06/26/2026) and $146,424.89 (07/10/2026). Bills listed included $19,578.74 (06/08/2026), $114,721.22 (06/15/2026), $22,116.18 (06/22/2026), $29,599.12 (06/30/2026) and $19,639.86 (07/06/2026). The board approved the consent agenda by voice vote.
On individual items the board approved a FY26 budget amendment of approximately $6,000 to the archives general gifts fund to reflect a received grant for a new microfilm scanner. The board also approved payment of an Ameren invoice for $12,260.62.
The nominating committee recommended keeping the current officers; the chair stated the slate would be retained with Beth as vice president, Justin as secretary-treasurer and Glenn as secretary pro tem. The board moved to keep the slate and approved it by voice vote.
These financial approvals were passed in open session and no additional conditions or amendments were reported publicly at the meeting.
