During discussion, Bill Coye said he generally supports applications that bring more town residents into service but chose to abstain. Vice Chair Karen Robinson noted that the board had previously voted not to reinstate Adams as an alternate and said Adams had been the only alternate for eight years and had previously declined requests to replace a departing member. The minutes record that Adams said he lacked technology. The board did not appoint Adams at the meeting.
