Dolores County commissioners approve impact-assistance request, flag appraisal effects on farm taxes

The Chair called the meeting of the Dolores County Board of County Commissioners to order and led the pledge of allegiance before commissioners approved routine agenda items and an impact-assistance request related to Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

The Chair said, "I will call a regular meeting of the Dolores County Board of County Commissioners to order," and later moved to approve the "2026 impact assistance" request; a commissioner seconded the motion and the board voted in favor. The Chair and the commissioner discussed that cycle and said the county is collecting yield and reporting data for the next three appraisal cycles to better understand the trend.
