The motion was offered by Councilman Jesse Cudzilo, seconded by Councilman Cliff Barber, and carried 5 ayes, 0 nays.
Ridgeway Fire Chief Tyler Luckman reported the department ran 29 calls in May: 13 EMS, 2 motor vehicle accidents, 10 hazardous-condition responses, 1 false alarm, 2 brush fires and 1 structure fire. He said one pumper is out of service, two new members were sworn in, and pump testing and hose testing were scheduled for the coming week.
Code Enforcement Officer Aaron Wolfe said he completed all required training and exams and is now certified with the State; he said the town has 25 open building permits, including two new homes, and that one dilapidated house was demolished. Highway Superintendent John Olinger said his department has been paving and sealing roads, helping the Village with roadwork, flushing dead ends and mowing cemeteries and roadsides.
With no further business the board adjourned at 8:28 p.m.
