At the Oct. 23 meeting the Rockport School Committee approved the Oct. 2 meeting minutes, accepted donations to the music department, adjusted the agenda to hear a PLTW presentation, accepted several policy clean versions after a first read, received MCAS and fiscal updates, and voted to adjourn to executive session. Administrators were asked to route the community health needs assessment survey to nurses, counseling and principals for review, and to return with recommendations; staff will also provide periodic enrollment and budget updates. The meeting closed when the committee moved into executive session and adjourned from there without returning.
