Community center project faces $481,000 shortfall as bids are prepared

Meyers noted some contingency dollars remain between the city and the Schemmer plan but did not specify whether those contingencies fully address the shortfall.
The board received the update but did not take a formal vote at this meeting; staff will return to council and the board as bids and funding options develop.
