On a separate motion, the council approved two tax-refund payments tied to refinancing that together totaled $2,420. The council also adopted the meeting agenda and approved minutes from the June 23, 2026 meeting earlier in the session.
These votes were taken by voice and no roll-call tallies were recorded in the transcript. Staff reminded residents that tax bills based on a temporary mill rate of $27.79 are due Aug. 3 and encouraged electronic payments.
