Great Falls Housing Authority reports progress on multiple repairs and renovations

Sukut said interior doors have been installed in Buildings 7D and 7E. He reported the exterior siding delivery is pending and anticipated toward the end of June; cabinets are expected this week with installation scheduled for the week of July 6 and flooring to follow the week after. Furnaces are being installed and water heaters have been ordered. The transcript lists a siding contractor by name; the board noted delivery timing rather than warranty or contractor details.
On Buildings 6A and 6D, Sukut said an electrical engineer has been on site and BSPARK Architecture is using prior duplex drawings to finalize the design work, expected within a few weeks. Once design is complete and the units are vacated, the authority will place the buildings into MOD status to begin environmental review and demolition preparation. Sukut said the timing of Valeria Street repair will depend on contractor bid results.
Sukut also reported that survey work for the Sunrise Street repair is complete, trees have been removed and stumps ground, and design work should finish this week. The authority is coordinating with Woith Engineering on quotes and bid proposals.
Staff added that main office windows are currently being installed, which has improved the appearance of the offices.
The board did not take separate formal action on these capital updates during the meeting; staff outlined follow-up steps, including finishing design documents, soliciting bids, and scheduling installations.
