The committee also discussed EV charging infrastructure and siting. "We should partner with Ride Maine and people could schedule time for charging and then go to the beach," Committee member Mike McAtamney said. Community member David Lounsbury added, "The fast charging attracts people downtown. At Waterstreet or Garden Street?" The remarks framed downtown access and business foot traffic as considerations in choosing charger locations.
