The Joint Plan Commission on June 29 reviewed a request to extend the premise for outdoor dining at the 1850’s Inn and voted to recommend approval to the Common Council.
Members examined setback requirements and discussed the placement of street furniture. The commission recommended placing a bench next to the outside of the fence and advised that an existing flowerpot not be moved.
Troy Justmann moved to approve and Mayor Fude seconded; the motion carried. Commissioner Cathy Firari abstained, a fact recorded in the minutes. The minutes do not record a full roll-call or numeric tally in the public record provided.
The commission’s recommendation will be forwarded to the Common Council for final action.
