Town Manager Sara J. Liscomb used the March 23 Selectmen meeting to report department budget presentations and several administrative notices. Liscomb said department heads and the Town Manager presented budgets to the board; the minutes do not include line-item budget amounts.
Liscomb announced the Town Office will be closed March 24 for mandatory CVR2 training and noted an unforeseen closure scheduled for May 8. She said nomination papers are available and the town is in need of volunteers for the Planning Board.
D. Mitchell explained a new "Sunshine Program" set up by the two Police Departments; the minutes record the explanation but do not name the departments or provide program details. R. Hemenway raised a selectmen issue, reporting that a street light is still hanging at the corner of Hillcrest and Main and asked that the matter be addressed.
