Selectmen approve testing and potential $500 sale of RTC dock plate; review reconfiguration and shelter plans

RTC Manager David Aiken told the board that the Town of Harrisville is interested in purchasing a dock plate the Recycling/Transfer Center no longer uses.
Selectman Nelson moved to allow Harrisville to test the dock plate and, if satisfied, to buy it for $500.00; Selectman Pitt seconded and the vote was unanimous.
The board reviewed a draft statement on the RTC Reconfiguration Project that will appear in the next Marlborough Bulletin and on the town website. Chairman Paight said he is working with Mike Wilber on plans for an employee shelter at the RTC. Board members also asked whether tools currently stored in the RTC shed could be hung on the barn wall to free the shed for the Share Shed.
