Marlborough awards $17,800 contract for sanitary sewer manhole repairs

The Marlborough Board of Selectmen voted unanimously Aug. 20 to award the 2025 Sanitary Sewer Manhole Repairs contract to Bills Concrete Construction, LLC for $17,800. Selectman Pitt made the motion to award the project; Selectman Nelson seconded and the vote was unanimous.
At the same meeting the board approved routine financial items: Selectman Nelson moved to approve the Payroll Check Register for $83.89, the Direct Deposit Register for $12,773.99 and the Accounts Payable Register for $68,575.39; Selectman Pitt seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The board also approved the minutes of its Aug. 13, 2025 meeting by a unanimous vote after a motion by Selectman Pitt and a second by Selectman Nelson. These routine approvals and the contract award were taken during the board's morning session, which began at 10:00 a.m.
