Lower Heidelberg supervisors approve truck purchase, garage repairs, sewer inspection payment and sewer repair contract; appoint alternate and advertise 2025预算

At the Nov. 18 Lower Heidelberg Township Board of Supervisors meeting the board approved several motions by voice vote, each recorded in the minutes as passing unanimously.

Equipment and road operations: Supervisor Paul Prutzman moved and Vice Chair Cheryl Johnson seconded a motion approving the purchase of a 2025 Freightliner for township road operations. The minutes also record the township sold a 2006 Case backhoe through Municibid. The board approved a separate motion to have the road crew perform repairs to the shop garage floor using materials costing $19,629.

Finance, appointments and next steps: Secretary/Treasurer Jennifer Frasso presented the Treasurer’s Report and the consent agenda (Treasurer’s Report, approval of the Oct. 21 meeting minutes, and the October Bills Paid list) was approved on a single motion. In new business the board appointed Mike Roberts to a three-year term as a zoning hearing board alternate. The board also voted to advertise the township’s 2025 budget.
