The committee granted extensions for Simple Bar and Grill (160 E. Oak St.), Rollin Stone (153 E. Oak St.) and 1850’s (172 E. Oak St.) to serve alcohol on July 25 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. The motion to grant the extensions was made by Chairperson Troy Justmann and seconded by Bob Chapman; the motion carried 2-0.
No conditions or modifications to the applications were recorded in the minutes. The committee’s approval covers only the temporary extension for the festival date; standard licensing and regulatory requirements remain in effect.
The committee noted an unrelated, separately filed application from 1850’s for a summer patio at the same address; that application was forwarded to the Plan Commission for review and will not be decided by Public Safety at this meeting.
