Diamondville — Kate Zimmerman of the Fossil Basin Promotion Board presented the board’s annual financial report to the Diamondville Town Council on Feb. 16, 2026 and, alongside Sheryl Gunter, requested information about a proposed digital sign to be located in Diamondville.
Following the presentation, Council Member Robert Sawaya moved to schedule a workshop to review Impact Assistance Funding for Feb. 26, 2026, at 5 p.m.; Council Member Casey Clark seconded and the motion carried with unanimous assent. The workshop will focus on Impact Assistance Funding details; the transcript does not include the workshop agenda or funding amounts.
Chief of Police Jeff Kolata provided a preliminary review of the town’s Emergency Action Plan and identified that updates were needed. Kolata told the governing body he will present necessary information and the proposed updates at the next council meeting.
