Mayor Pro-Tem Jason Watts made the motion, which was seconded by Council Member Brent Eberspacher; council members Jason Watts, Joye England, Gary Brown and Brent Eberspacher voted in favor and the motion passed.
The meeting opened at 7:00 p.m., called to order by Mayor Eddie Ford. Also present were Mayor Pro-Tem Jason Watts, Council Members Joye England, Gary Brown and Brent Eberspacher and City Clerk Debi Smith; Gary Roberts was noted as not in attendance.
In addition to the Burg Road decision, the council approved routine business: a motion by Mayor Pro-Tem Jason Watts to adopt the meeting agenda (seconded by Gary Brown), approval of the April 14, 2025 minutes (motion by Jason Watts, seconded by Brent Eberspacher), and acceptance of the April 2025 financial reports (motion by Jason Watts, seconded by Gary Brown). For each procedural motion listed in the minutes the recorded votes show Jason Watts, Joye England, Gary Brown and Brent Eberspacher voting aye.
