Jenkinsburg council adopts agenda, approves minutes and accepts July financial reports

The City of Jenkinsburg Council opened its Aug. 11 meeting with a quorum present and voted to adopt the meeting agenda. Mayor Pro-Tem Jason Watts moved to adopt the agenda and Gary Roberts seconded; the council recorded aye votes from Jason Watts, Joye England, Gary Brown, Gary Roberts and Brent Eberspacher.
Council then approved the minutes of the July 28, 2025 meeting on a motion by Gary Roberts with a second from Brent Eberspacher; the motion passed on a recorded vote of the same council members. Later, Council Member Gary Brown moved to accept the July 2025 financial reports; Gary Roberts seconded and the motion passed with recorded ayes from all five members.
Council Member Gary Brown gave the invocation and Mayor Eddie Ford led the Pledge of Allegiance. The remainder of the agenda included the mayor’s report, a staff report and public comments; no actions were required under those headings and the meeting adjourned at 7:42 p.m.
