North Fond du Lac trustees approve consent agenda, move to closed session to discuss union contracts

At the Nov. 3 meeting the Village of North Fond du Lac Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda, which included minutes from the Oct. 20 meeting, authorization of invoices and an operator license for Harvey Parris of Last Shot (24 ½ Harrison Street). Trustee Mike Will moved to approve the consent agenda and Trustee Gary Schaub seconded; the minutes record "5 ayes" and that the motion carried.
Later in the meeting Trustee Chuck Hornung moved and Trustee John Duffy seconded that the board convene in executive session at 6:32 p.m. pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of public employees. The minutes list the two closed-session items as the WPPA union contract and the IAFF union contract. A roll call on the motion recorded Duffy, Hornung, Streetar, Schaub and Will as voting "yes." The minutes note the board may reconvene in open session to take formal action on closed-session subjects or may adjourn in closed session. The meeting was adjourned at 6:43 p.m.
