The Village of North Fond du Lac Board of Trustees voted 4–0 June 24 to approve a temporary modification to the licensed premises for Charlie’s Banquet Hall and Pub for June 27, 2026.
Village President Michael Streetar called the special meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. and trustees Chuck Hornung, Gary Schaub and Mike Will were present; Trustee John Duffy was excused. Police Chief Pete Vergos and Administrator Nick Leonard were listed as staff in attendance.
Police Chief Pete Vergos recommended approval of the requested temporary modification, saying the application met the criteria for exceptions. Administrator Nick Leonard told the board that such exceptions have been occurring more frequently and recommended the village limit approvals to three or four exceptions per year.
Trustee Chuck Hornung moved to approve the temporary licensed-premises modification for Charlie’s Banquet Hall and Pub for June 27, 2026; Trustee Mike Will seconded. The board recorded four "ayes" and the motion carried.
The agenda lists sections for unfinished and new business but no items are recorded under those headings in the official minutes. Trustee Gary Schaub moved to adjourn at 4:13 p.m.; Trustee Chuck Hornung seconded, and the board voted 4–0 to adjourn.
