Water treatment plant and county clinic projects advancing, officials say

The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority heard brief construction updates Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, with staff reporting steady progress on a water treatment plant and on a county clinic project.
At the meeting, Chair opened by asking for project updates. Jack, a staff member, said the water treatment plant is nearing the structural stage: "they've they've just about got the skeleton out if it's not completed by now. I saw it a couple days ago," and that crews were "putting the skin on," indicating the project is moving on schedule.
Randy, a staff member providing the clinic update, said the clinic work is also advancing: "It's moving forward there. We've got 2 or 3 projects that they're moving forward on, starting to put the fill in on the for the footings." He said the site may soon show visible progress "coming out of the ground." The board noted a construction coordination meeting for the clinic is scheduled for Thursday at 10 a.m.
The updates came during a short meeting that focused primarily on routine financial housekeeping; no formal changes to project scope or new funding decisions were made. The Board adjourned at 9:37 a.m.
