Roxbury board approves bundled finance, education, policy and personnel resolutions

The Roxbury Township Board of Education voted July 13 to approve bundled consent resolutions covering finances, education items, district policies and personnel actions.

Board members moved and seconded the consent blocks during the business portion of the meeting and adopted them by roll-call vote. Anne moved the finance block (Resolutions 1–45), with another board member seconding; the clerk called each member’s name and those present answered 'Yes.' The clerk repeated roll-call approval for the education block (Resolutions 1–2), the policies block (Resolutions 1–2) and the personnel block (Resolutions 1–25).

The policy items include a cell-phone/electronic-device policy for the high school described by committee leadership as intended to comply with New Jersey Department of Education requirements.
