The Bayfield County Planning and Zoning Committee approved a Certified Survey Map on June 18, 2026, to combine three legally separate lots into one parcel in the Town of Iron River. The application involved Tax IDs 20205, 20204 and 20244; Gregory and Christine Carrier and Jeffrey and Chelsey Simon were listed as owners and Patrick McKuen/Pine Ridge Land Surveying acted as agent.
Ruth Hulstrom, zoning director, told the committee that the Iron River Town Board recommended approval. Greg Carrier explained the owners’ rationale for combining the lots. The committee moved to approve the one‑lot CSM under Wisconsin Statute 236.34(dm), finding that the resulting parcel would be less substandard than the existing configuration. The motion carried 5–0.
