The firm estimated the repair at roughly $2 million and said Dunn County’s share would be about 20 percent of that cost.
Engineers warned that the work will require a full road closure in fall 2027. Moore Engineering and county staff said the timing aims to limit disruption during the summer recreation season at the campground.
No final construction contract or funding authorization was recorded at the meeting; the presentation was informational. County staff will continue coordination with NDDOT and the Corps and provide scheduling updates to the board before any closure or construction begins.
