Brielle council approves consent agenda, renews multiple liquor licenses and authorizes $284,942.71 in bills

The consent agenda and accompanying resolutions included acceptance of a proposal from H2M for engineering and inspection services related to infrastructure improvements enumerated under bond ordinance 1170; authorization of a special-event permit for Twisted Sister Ladies Night (July 31, 2026); approval of a 250th Anniversary event in Brielle Park (July 1, 2026); and the renewal of multiple liquor licenses for the 2026–27 license year.

T/A Due Amici at 420 Higgins Avenue (Resolution 26-94-A); RELCOL, LLC T/A Rella’s Italian Tavern at 607 Union Avenue (26-94-B); Manasquan River Yacht Club (club license) at 405 Riverview Lane (26-94-C); Gull View, LLC at 1 Ocean Avenue (26-94-D) — renewed subject to conditions on outdoor amplified music, deck hours and noise-code compliance; Jonathon Ron Beverage Corporation T/A JR’s Bevco (629 Higgins Avenue) renewed but placed in “pocket status” as inactive (26-94-E); and CD & CM Holdings, LLC T/A La Mondina at 110 Union Avenue (26-94-F).
Councilmember Visceglia, seconded by Councilmember Shaak, also introduced Resolution 26-93 authorizing payment of the June 8 bills in the amount of $284,942.71; the minutes record that the members present—Councilmembers Gianforte, Laufer, Nolan, Shaak and Visceglia—voted aye and the resolution passed.
Why it matters: the meeting cleared routine but consequential municipal business, renewing on‑premises alcohol licenses that allow local restaurants, clubs and event venues to operate for the coming license year, and authorized payment of spending already approved by the borough. The Gull View renewal includes explicit operating conditions meant to limit outdoor amplified music and curtail noise impacts on nearby neighbors.
