Dodge County approves $109,868.52 in payments, names EMS council rep and opts for HB 581/92 Option 2

Commissioner Sharon Cobb Flanagan moved to approve the accounts payable report totaling $109,868.52. Commissioner Leigh Ann Greene seconded the motion; the board voted unanimously to approve payment of the report.
Commissioner Brian Watkins nominated Bob Braswell to serve on the Region 5 EMS Council. With no other nominations, the board closed nominations and appointed Braswell by acclamation.
On the HB 581/92 compliance item, Commissioner Watkins moved to approve Option 2: choose not to certify an estimated rollback millage rate and allow tax assessments to include an estimated tax amount based on the prior-year millage rate applied to current assessments. Commissioner Jeffrey Jones seconded the motion; the board voted in favor.
Other routine business included approval of prior meeting minutes and the board’s adjournment at 7:15 p.m.
