The Blair Township Planning Commission on May 4 recommended approval of a waiver to Ordinance No. 350-48.D(4) for the Robert Claar Land Development Plan, but tabled the plan itself pending receipt of a revised engineer's plan.
Eric Banks of Stiffler McGraw briefed the commission on the proposal for the property at 1531 Reservoir Road across from the former Blair School and said the township has received the required PennDOT driveway permit. Banks said he was comfortable recommending approval of the waiver to the access-drive requirement, but that the engineer still must submit a revised plan for township review.
Chris Kreidler made the motion to recommend approval of the waiver; Theresa Gillie seconded and the motion carried. Theresa Gillie then moved to table the Robert Claar Land Development Plan; Chris Kreidler seconded that motion, which also carried.
The commission did not vote on the full plan; the tabling preserves outstanding engineering and review comments for future consideration. No dates were provided for when a revised plan is expected.
