Bucklin council approves condemnation, annexation and new trash rules

At its Sept. 15 meeting the Bucklin City Council approved multiple land-use and regulatory actions in unanimous votes among the members present.
Councilmember Justin Engel moved to approve Resolution No. 2025-005 authorizing condemnation and demolition of structures; Councilmember Noel Stiles seconded and the motion carried 3–0.
The council also accepted a petition and consent to annexation into the city after a motion from Councilmember Stiles, seconded by Councilmember Nichole Pearce, and approved Resolution No. 2025-006 to annex land on a motion by Engel and second by Stiles; both motions passed 3–0.
Councilmember Noel Stiles moved to adopt Tree Pile & Trash Bin Rules and Acknowledgement forms; Councilmember Pearce seconded and the motion carried 3–0.
These items were recorded on the agenda as separate motions and passed without recorded public comment or debate. The council adjourned at 8:03 p.m.
