Franklin County commissioners hear update on new recovery center, seek partnership draft

Bauman said he had asked the CEO of Comprehensive Health Care and the mental health advisory board chair to provide a draft operating agreement modeled on a recent Benton County agreement so the board could evaluate a possible partnership.
Commissioner Dutier reported operational numbers and noted the center is "up and running." Dutier said county figures show the facility has served about 100 clients and that 132 full-time staff were listed for the period he described; he added that parts of the facility were not yet fully operational. He described a crisis-relief area that functions as a 23-hour sobering wing, reporting 47 total clients seen there and that 23 of those entered crisis stabilization.
The commissioners did not take formal action on the partnership at the meeting; Bauman said staff would circulate any draft agreement for the board to review. The board later entered an executive session on litigation and returned without public decisions.
