The Danvers Select Board on June 18 unanimously approved three licensing items: a Common Victualler license for a new bakery at 74 Holten Street, a one-day Wine & Malt Beverage license for Twisted Fate Brewing for a June 20 fishing event at Liberty Marina, and the renewal of a seven-day entertainment license for Connors’ Farm.
For Daniella’s Bakery LLC, doing business as Daniella’s Dolce (Daniel Mammola, manager), Alex Noss described the bakery as specializing in custom cakes, pastries and coffee with seating for 8 to 16 customers, no table service, and planned hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week. The board closed the public hearing and approved the Common Victualler license on the condition that a floor plan be provided to the clerk. The motions to close and to approve were made by Select Board member Gardner S. Trask III and seconded by Select Board member Daniel C. Bennett; both carried 5–0.
Select Board members also approved a One-Day Wine & Malt Beverage license for Twisted Fate Brewing (owner David Pinette) for a fishing event at Liberty Marina, 130 Water Street, on June 20 from 3:30–7:30 p.m. Erica Tritta confirmed required paperwork was in order; motion to approve was made by Member Bennett, seconded by Member Trask, and passed 5–0.
The board held and closed a public hearing for Connors’ Farm, 30 Valley Road, where owner Robert Connors (represented by Attorney Walter Flowers) sought renewal of a seven-day entertainment license. Flowers told the board the farm complied with last year’s conditions, monitored sound levels, addressed neighbor concerns directly, and had no unresolved complaints; the farm plans to operate in 2026 as it did in 2025 with the same hours and no live music. The board approved the renewal, and agreed that future renewals may be placed on the consent calendar beginning in 2027 if there are no changes or complaints. Motions by Member Trask and seconded by Member Bennett carried 5–0.
Votes at a glance: Daniella’s Dolce Common Victualler license — approved 5–0 (condition: floor plan to Clerk); Twisted Fate Brewing One-Day Wine & Malt license — approved 5–0; Connors’ Farm seven-day entertainment license renewal — approved 5–0.
The board placed the Connors’ Farm item on the consent calendar for future years if operations remain unchanged and no complaints are received.
