On the Cancun House mobile office (item 4c), staff reported a plumber inspected the site and told them “it was iron cast plumbing under” and gave a rough estimate “around the ballpark of facing the units… anywhere from 15 to 20.” Staff said follow-up calls were paused because of current budget constraints; members suggested alternatives, including renting nearby micro-office space or using an empty lot with existing water and sewer connections. The board asked staff to gather formal quotes and to report back at the next meeting.
On Pentecostal House shed relocation (item 4d), staff reported a mover (ENA Portable) offered to move the shed for approximately $1,400; a carpenter said he could disassemble and reassemble it but cautioned that reassembly might produce damage. Members noted the lease’s exhibit (red-lined area) may prohibit leaving structures in certain zones and asked staff to confirm the lease language, seek city permission tied to upcoming construction, obtain firm mover and carpentry quotes and circulate them to the board so a formal motion could be drafted.
No formal votes were taken on these facility items; the board directed staff to collect quotes, confirm lease and city requirements, and return with costed options.
