Janet Johnson, Planning/Building/Zoning Official, said the change order adjusts project quantities downward and noted the completed work included sod installation and construction of a retaining wall; she reported the 6th and Maple Street Repair Project is now complete.
The resolution accepting the change order sets the current contract amount at $47,654.62 (original contract $49,847.00 less the change order). The council approved the final payment after finding the materials and work had been furnished and received by the city.
The council's roll call was unanimous. The action closes the project in the city's records; the council did not record outstanding claims or further work on this contract in the meeting minutes.
