Woodridge trustees approve omnibus package; Glen Court drainage contract awarded for $446,671.81

Administrator Stone reviewed omnibus content for the record, which included an ordinance adopting amended rules of the board of police commissioners (Ordinance 2026‑50), a resolution awarding water system leak detection services (Resolution 2026‑73), and an ordinance amending parking restrictions on 101st Street (Ordinance 2026‑51). The board also approved a liquor‑license adjustment tied to a closure at the 7 Bridges Ice Arena (Ordinance 2026‑52).
Among separately considered items, the board approved Resolution 2026‑74, awarding Bid 2026‑06 for the Glen Court Drainage Improvements to John Neary Construction Company in the amount of $446,671.81. Administrator Stone introduced the resolution and the clerk called the roll; the motion carried.
Other approved procurement and contract actions included authorization for construction inspection services related to the Glen Court project, purchase and implementation of a Cisco Webex phone system, purchase of 50 Dell laptop computers under the village replacement cycle, renewal of an extended warranty for the VMware server cluster, and renewal of Cisco Duo multifactor authentication services. The board also authorized construction inspection agreements with V3 Companies for forthcoming development projects and waived bidding to buy three Fisher snowplows and related accessories.
All items presented during the meeting were moved, seconded and approved by roll call; the board declared each motion carried. No board member registered a public dissent on the floor during the July 16 actions.
What this means: The Glen Court contract commits $446,671.81 to stormwater/drainage work in that area; IT and equipment approvals proceed under the village procurement and replacement schedules.
