RWJPA approves minutes, financial reports, furnace servicing and bills

At its Feb. 10 meeting, the Richland Wilkin Joint Powers Authority completed several routine business items. Klindt moved and Jon Braton seconded to approve the Jan. 13 and Jan. 26, 2026 meeting minutes; the motion carried. Perry Miller moved, with Jon Braton seconding, to approve Sarah Erickson’s Jan. 31, 2026 financial reports; the board carried the motion.
Nathan Berseth raised the need for furnace servicing and cleaning in JPA-owned homes across both counties; Jon Braton moved to authorize the work, Klindt seconded and the motion carried. Finally, the board reviewed and approved payment of the current RWJPA bills after a motion by Klindt and second by Perry Miller; the motion carried by unanimous roll call.
The actions complete the authority’s routine administrative responsibilities and authorize maintenance to preserve JPA-owned housing stock.
