Amanda Kerns, senior planner with NSVRC, told the Town of Middletown Planning Commission at its Feb. 23 meeting that staff is conducting a second review of the Steel Dog Development site plan and has incorporated Town Council feedback into a revised draft of the towns Comprehensive Plan. Kerns said the draft now includes an implementation table and asked commissioners to review the updated document ahead of an open house on March 23 to support the adoption timeline.
Kernss report noted the Steel Dog site plan is under second review; the minutes do not record detailed substantive changes to that site plan or a formal vote. Council Liaison George Smith said he had no updates from the Town Council and would carry meeting information to the councils next work session. No members of the public spoke during the public-comment period. The commission did not take formal action on either the Comprehensive Plan draft or the site plan during the Feb. 23 meeting.
