Used vehicle purchase and budget appropriation: Staff recommended purchasing a 2023 Ford Explorer being disposed by Hanover Township with a reported reserve price of $30,000 and roughly 3,700 miles on the odometer. Because the purchase was not in the 2026 budget, the board authorized transferring up to $35,000 from the general fund to the capital projects fund to complete the purchase and approved the transaction.
Street vacation report for Locust Lane: Solicitor Mark presented the statutorily required report and agreement for vacating a portion of right-of-way on Locust Lane in connection with the Spring Creek development. The report documents that the abutting property owners will accept the returned right-of-way; the board authorized the township manager to sign and transmit the documents to the owners and county for recording and will allow the statutory notice periods to expire before adopting an ordinance to finalize the vacation.
