At its Dec. 3 special meeting, the Sac City Council approved a consent agenda that included routine financial reports, minutes, a bow-license application from Sam Schmitt and claims totaling $92,263.85.
The claims list included payments to Clayton Energy for an October commodity charge of $13,872.13 and a November reservation charge of $34,208.26; a Wellmark health insurance payment of $29,895.65 also appeared among the listed claims. Other listed vendors included MidAmerican Energy, Bomgaars, J3Red Marketing LLC and several benefit and insurance providers. The roll call to approve the consent agenda recorded Ayes: Larry Mahler, Bob Murley, Kayla Shull, Teresa Bruening and Tom Lownik; Nays: None.
The consent agenda also recorded consideration of an application by Sam Schmitt for a bow license to hunt inside the city limits; the minutes list the application as part of items approved on the consent agenda. Processing of claims and approvals will be handled through the City Clerk’s office.
