The chief stated his preference to hire two part‑time officers but noted only one part‑time position had been approved; councilors agreed to continue recruitment for one part‑time officer.
Council did not take further formal action on staffing at this meeting; the chief will report back on recruitment progress and any Civil Service scheduling.
