The court approved minutes and routine payments by voice vote, then considered an OCEDA loan for attorney Travis Johnson to acquire or buy into a local business. Jason Bullock presented the request and moved to approve the $50,000 loan at 4% over 60 months, using business equipment, fixtures, inventory and eligible property as collateral; Michael McKinney seconded the motion and the court approved it.
The court completed a second reading of an administrative-code ordinance and recorded a roll-call affirming the second reading. In separate action, the court approved a budget amendment to carry over discretionary funds into the new fiscal year; the judge noted the county cannot access carryover funds until the Department of Local Government returns its review. Jason Bullock made the motion and Dale seconded; the motion passed on roll call.
