Clifton council authorizes mayor to finalize Streetscape funding resolution with SPC ahead of VDOT deadline

Christman told the council that the full VDOT funding application must be submitted by Nov. 1 and that a supporting resolution confirming the Town's match is required by Oct. 1. The Special Projects Committee is finalizing how much additional funding to request and how much the Town can feasibly commit as match.
Mayor Hollaway moved to authorize him to work with the SPC to approve the finalized resolution; the motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Effros and approved by roll call (Hinderstein: Aye; McDonald: Aye; Milne: Aye; Hollaway: Aye; Effros: Aye; Poe: Aye).
