John Carter, Planning Commission chair, asked council to fill two vacant seats on the planning commission; Councilmember Suzanne Abramson moved to appoint Archie Gobble and Becky Heath, a motion seconded by Cary Sauls and approved by roll call.
Town Manager Cecile Rosenbaum presented a written request from the fire department asking for a former department vehicle no longer in rotation; council voted to donate a 2015 black-and-white Ford Explorer to the Saltville Volunteer Fire Department. Council also approved the February 2025 accounts-payable listing on Mr. Sauls' motion, and later authorized blocking roads around the town stage area on April 19 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
