At the July 14 Bartlett meeting, Public Works Director Matt Crenshaw reported that street paving and restoration work is nearly finished: crews completed most areas but weather delayed final lane work and striping in parts of Bartlett Country toward Highway 70. Crenshaw said a final "fall seal" will complete the project and striping is scheduled weather permitting.
Parks/events staff (Director Ben) announced Bartlett Live returns Saturday with music from Truck Patch Revival from 7 to 9 p.m. and a lineup of food vendors and sponsors including 1st Horizon Bank, Side Porch Steakhouse, Meddelson Brewing Company and Dobbs Brothers Chevrolet. He credited Alderman Griffin for logistics and banner support.
The updates were presented as informational reports with no votes required; the meeting then concluded with no citizen open discussion forms filed.
