Osceola Public Schools board approves 2025'1026 property tax request and resolution

The Osceola Public Schools Board of Education on Sept. 24 approved the district's final property tax request for the 2025'26 school year and adopted a related tax request resolution.
Board member Anthony Mestl moved to approve the final property tax request; Jena Ockander seconded the motion, which passed on a recorded vote of five yeas: Jennifer Boruch, Anthony Mestl, Daisy Naber, Michael Neujahr and Jena Ockander. Later in the same agenda item, Board member Jennifer Boruch moved to approve the tax request resolution for the 2025'26 year; Daisy Naber seconded that motion and it also passed with the same five yeas.
Earlier in the meeting, Board member Daisy Naber moved to excuse Eric Yungdahl from the meeting; Anthony Mestl seconded that motion and it passed with a 5-0 recorded vote. The board recorded attendance for Jennifer Boruch, Anthony Mestl, Daisy Naber, Michael Neujahr, Jena Ockander and Eric Yungdahl at the start of the meeting.
The board announced its next regular meeting will be Monday, Oct. 13, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the Osceola Middle/High School Media Center. The special meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. and adjourned at 7:14 p.m. after a motion to adjourn by Anthony Mestl, seconded by Daisy Naber, which passed 5-0.
