The funds, Schuyler said, could support measures such as fuel switching at town facilities and equipment. Neill said Eco Action Partners would draft the grant application and that an award decision could arrive in December; he added the grant would require a five percent local match from the town for a period of two to three years if the award is made.
Councilor Kroger moved to submit the Ridgway IMPACT Accelerator Letter of Intent; Councilor Schuyler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously by roll call vote. The meeting record does not include projected grant amounts or a detailed match-cost estimate.
