The Town of Ridgeway Town Board on Sept. 16 approved a series of routine purchases, authorized ARPA-funded materials for a waterline extension and approved payment of $102,550.45 in bills.
The board adopted Resolution No. 56 to purchase a hydraulic rotary broom for $12,250. Councilman Duane Payne moved the resolution and Councilman Jeffrey Toussaint seconded; the motion carried 3 Ayes, 0 Nays. The town also adopted Resolution No. 55 authorizing NYSEG gas line service for Town Hall; that resolution passed by the same margin.
Under Resolution No. 57 the board authorized purchase of material for a waterline extension from Core & Main using $75,787.91 in American Rescue Plan Act funds. Highway Superintendent John Olinger said the materials are for the Knowlesville–Eagle Harbor Road project. The resolution was offered by Councilman Toussaint, seconded by Councilman Payne, and adopted 3 Ayes, 0 Nays.
Supervisor Brian Napoli asked for and the board approved payment of the abstract as presented. The totals by account were listed at the meeting and the full abstract totaled $102,550.45. Councilman Duane Payne moved the payment motion and Councilman Jeffrey Toussaint seconded; the motion carried 3 Ayes, 0 Nays.
