Council certifies June election results and affirms mayor, vice mayor

Following certification, the council completed its reorganization. Nominations for mayor were opened and Mayor Olmos was nominated to serve for the remainder of the year without opposition. Vice Mayor Claire Stallings was nominated and confirmed as vice mayor. The council scheduled a swearing‑in ceremony for newly reelected members and confirmed organizational items for the upcoming calendar.
