Advisory board approves minutes and adjourns to park tour; next meeting Aug. 20

The Davenport Park and Recreation Advisory Board moved, seconded and approved the minutes that had been distributed electronically. The motion to approve the minutes was moved and seconded and the board voted in the affirmative.
Later in the meeting, the board agreed to adjourn and proceed to a bus tour of park projects. A motion to adjourn and move to the tour was placed and seconded; the motion passed. The board confirmed it will meet again formally on Aug. 20 in the chambers.
No formal amendments or budget votes were recorded during the session; staff indicated additional updates will be provided during the tour.
