The Council on Aging opened with a reminder about open-meeting law and recording before taking up officer elections moved to the start of the agenda. Anita was nominated and approved as chair; Sue Lander was nominated and approved as vice chair; and Jane Sill was nominated and approved as secretary. All three nominations were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
The board then accepted the June 8, 2026 minutes after a motion and second, again approving by voice. Later, members moved and approved a motion to accept the director and assistant directors' reports.
No roll-call vote tallies were recorded in the transcript; outcomes were announced by voice as "all those in favor" and carried. The meeting proceeded to program and budget updates following those procedural items.
The next regular COA meeting was set for August 10 (noted during the session).
